Meet Jon and Go Through His Tattoo Work

I have been in and around the professional tattoo industry for most of my life. I kind of grew up in it. I started mopping floors and scrubbing toilets in the studios when I was 12 or 13. I knew how to make needles and set up tattoo machines before I could drive. My old man was pretty old school; you learn it the right way then you do it the right way. If you can’t do it right, don’t do it.

These are the old school values I took from him along with the old school knowledge and teachings that had been passed to him from the generations before his. He taught me that no one is perfect, but that’s still what you’re supposed to shoot for. You don’t have to be the best, but it sure helps if you're better than the guy down the street. So that’s what I’ve tried to do. I’ve tattooed six to seven days a week for almost two decades constantly trying to learn and evolve with this ever-changing industry. I try to go above and beyond what my clients expect and always go that extra mile. That’s what keeps them coming back. I’m clean, friendly, and damn good because that’s how you’re supposed to be.
